We recently moved to the area. We heard good things about this facility so decided to try it. Dr. Chandler and his staff were professional and friendly. We figured this location would be a good choice to replace our excellent vet. Then, today, our dog was bitten twice by a venomous snake. We rushed him to Tidewater Animal Hospital. Dr. Chandler was just finishing up a surgery and immediately began helping our dog. He was amazing. Dr Chandler and his entire staff are the real deal. This hospital is not just a good choice but an excellent one.
Dr. Chandler is absolutely wonderful. We recently had to have our dog put to sleep and he made the process a lot easier to deal with. He was compassionate and caring, and he explained every part of the process. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!
We contacted Dr. Chandler for the very first time while on vacation on a Friday night around 8:30 about our injured dog. He agreed to see our beloved pet that night.......we were over an hour away! He met us at the office around 9:30 pm. After examining Jada's injury, he sent us back while he took care of her. As we left, he was carrying our 75 lb lab in for x-rays, alone and with no staff there to help. At 8:30 the next morning, we were called and informed that our Jada was ready to come home. He stayed there late that night, did the x-rays, set and splinted her leg, and wrapped it up to heal. His compassion for us and our pet was obvious and comforting. If we did not live 3 hours away, we would have a new regular Vet without question! Thank you so much Dr. Chandler and staff at Tidewater Animal Hospital!
We moved and took are dogs to a vet that was 5 mins from the house and we were not happy with them it's a hr drive for us to get here and it's well worth it. Wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else!
